Usually minor traffic citations are set by the law enforcement officer for what is known as "Disposition Court." Disposition Court allows you to appear in court at your convenience at any time between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the court date assigned to you, allowing you to pay off your citation without waiting at the courthouse for hours.
If your traffic citation indicates you are you to appear in Courtroom 1A, you may come to court any time between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. If you want to plead "not guilty" or "not responsible" regarding your citation, your case will be continued to a date when the officer is available to testify in court.
All citations must be paid with cash, money order, or certified check on your court date.
